Finally, after all these years, we have a publisher that would invest much time, energy, and resources to put together a literary masterpiece about our beautiful city. Honolulu Stories is sure to become a classic. Thank you, Mutual Publishing!
A magnificent treasure chest of literary jewels, selected and edited by Hawaii’s greatest author and its highest quality publisher. Daws’ introduction is a superb and comprehensive essay on the history of Hawaii, Honolulu, and the writings about this unique city. No other U.S. city could match it.
Just received “Honolulu Stories”-the diversity is wonderful. Who would have thought that there would be such a multitude of literary talent here?
Is there a Pultizer award for anthologies? If there is such a category, “Honolulu Stories” should be promptly submitted for consideration!
